Ms. Boudagga is a Ph.D student at the Faculty of Sciences at the University Tunis El-Manar, Tunisia.

The primary focus of her research is the cultivation of wild mushrooms and screening of their biotechnological potentials. Ms. Boudagga is interested in assessing the ecological values of mushrooms on the degradation of a large variety of lignocellulosic substrates and other wastes that are produced primarily through the activities of the agricultural, forest, and food-processing industries.

She has presented her research in five different international conferences and is currently working on a research project entitled 'Macromycetes in Tunisia: Diversity and Biotechnological Potentials.' During her Ph.D. studies, she also worked as an intern at the Biological Research Center (CIB), one of the largest and most prestigious research centers of the Spanish National Research Council (CSIC).
