Mrs. El Mouridi is a Researcher working at the Soil Physics Laboratory of the Regional Center of Agricultural Research of Rabat, Morocco one of the ten centers of the National Institute of Agricultural Research (INRA) that has developed a strong applied soil research program. In 2015, she was appointed as the head of this laboratory, where she supervises students.

She holds a Master's degree in Subatomic Physics and Application of Nuclear Techniques from the Mohamed V University – Sciences Faculty of Rabat, Morocco.

Mrs. El Mouridi uses nuclear techniques to find solutions for soil erosion, salinity, and contamination of water, soil, and plants. She is actively working with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) and the National Center for Energy, Science and Nuclear Technology on the use of nuclear techniques in science for peace and development. She is also involved in research on conservation agriculture (no-tillage system) as solution for adaptation to climate change.
