Marwa Mokhtar Abdal Galeel Khairallah

Dr. Marwa Mokhtar is an Associate Professor at Heliopolis University, Egypt, specializing in plant breeding, horticulture, biodiversity, agroforestry, and sustainable crop improvement. She has extensive research experience at the Agricultural Research Center (ARC), focusing on salt- and drought-tolerant crops and innovative climate-smart breeding. Dr. Mokhtar collaborates with Wageningen University & Research and CIHEAM Bari and actively promotes women’s leadership in agricultural science across the MENA region.
