Dr. Arbaoui is a research assistant at the Higher Institute of Agronomic Sciences of Chott Mariem, Tunisia. Her teaching and research areas include plant tissue culture, climate change mitigation, and abiotic stress.

Dr. Arbaoui holds a Ph.D. in Agricultural Sciences and a Master's degree in Horticultural Sciences from the National Institute of Agricultural Science, Carthage University, Tunisia. During her P.h.D., Dr. Arbaoui presented a thesis on the potential of a fiber plant kenaf (Hibiscus cannabinus L.) for phytoremediation of trace metals polluted soils.  

Dr. Arbaoui aims to improve plant salt tolerance using microorganisms for adaptation to climate change.
