Ms. Ben-Jabeur is a Ph.D. student in plant production, at the National Institute of Agronomy in Tunisia. She holds a Master’s in Plant Genetic Resources and Biotechnology. Her research interests lie in searching for bioactive molecules, and beneficial microorganisms evaluating their potential in plant growth promotion and resistance to biotic and abiotic stresses and improving field crop production. 

Ms. Ben-Jabeur believes that as an AWLA Fellow, she will be able to develop skills and contribute to Arab women empowerment in Agriculture.
