A Vegetable production Unit HEAD, in Abu Dhabi Agriculture and Food Safety Authority (ADAFSA), finished her bachelor’s degree on agribusiness and a master’s degree on Science in Horticulture, from the United Arab Emiratis University (UAEU). The primary focus of her research is AgriTech and soilless culture. She submitted a paper on using date palm waste as a growth substrate in soilless culture. She had five years’ experience in agriculture extension. She used to work on farmer contact and awareness, farm visit and field days, technical services (how to use hydroponic system technologies, plantation procedure, how to use fertigation system, etc..), labor training on using good agriculture practices in hydroponic to maintain sustainability and food security, collecting farm data and reporting as required.

She also worked as a focal point between ADAFSA researchers and farmers, where they applied some new cropping technologies, applied global and local scientific research to solve some agriculture issues. She prepared agricultural academic curricula, guides, and technical content for students and farmers. she was a primary evaluator for the Sheikh Mansour Agricultural Excellence Award, and she Developed an agricultural extension application for farmers She also worked on a smart extension system to help extension engineers on their daily farm visit. Today Ms. Al Marzooqi is a project manager of agriculture 4.0 program which is a program to evaluate the suitability of the various advanced technologies with the aim of rehabilitated and upgrade traditionally operated farms and finding a solution for main agriculture challenges.
